WORLDCRE Conference History – Dublin 2025

The 9th edition was held from 25 to 27 July 2025 in Dublin, Ireland. Researchers from Ireland, UK, the US, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Finland, Singapore, and other countries focused on making research useful in the real world. Participants discussed how studies can inform school policies, enhance classroom teaching, and support lifelong learning. The goal was practical application and future planning in education. WORLDCRE Conference History – Copenhagen 2024

The 8th edition was held from 01 to 03 November 2024 in Copenhagen, Denmark. It looked at the biggest change in education today: Artificial Intelligence. Researchers from Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Canada, South Korea, India, Brazil, and other countries explored the responsible use of technology and the importance of thinking globally. Researchers shared ideas on using AI fairly in schools, new approaches to teaching online effectively, and strategies for helping students become responsible global citizens. The main themes included works such as:

Education Conference History – Nice 2024

The 7th WORLDCRE was held from 23 to 25 February 2024, in Milan, Italy. This conference attracted a wide array of academics and researchers from Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, UK, Nigeria, Malaysia, etc. The attention was on supporting students and finding better ways to check their learning. 4th Edition of WORLDCRE – Paris 2021

Because of the worldwide Coronavirus outbreak, the oral presenters at the 4th WORLDCRE conference announced a shift to virtual presentations. Consequently, the WORLDCRE Organizing Committee decided to conduct the conference entirely online. 

The 4th edition was planned to take place in Paris from 19 to 21 November 2021. It assembled experts from France, Germany, UK, India, China, Brazil, and other countries. The future of learning was investigated. Researchers discussed new ideas for university education, different ways to teach that keep students engaged, and what science tells us about how people learn best. 3rd Edition Conference History - June 2021

In response to the global Coronavirus pandemic, the oral speakers at the 3rd WORLDCRE shifted to virtual presentations. As a result, the WORLDCRE Organizing Committee decided to host the entire conference online. The 3rd WORLDCRE was supposed to be held in Brussels, Belgium, from 18 to 20 June 2021

The 3rd edition focused on checking student progress and providing support. Talks covered better ways to assess learning, how to effectively use technology in teaching, and strategies to help students with special educational needs succeed. Experts from many disciplines and countries, such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, the US, UK, and other countries, gathered to discuss problems such as:

Ms. Munar strongly believes that business and technology can be mixed together into a perfect combination which leads to innovation, efficiency, and success of any company or organization. She is Specialized in technical teacher education, educational psychology, teaching methodologies. She is also Long-term member of the International Society of Engineering Education IGIP, member of EC IGIP.

Dr. Dennis Fung

Dr. Dennis Fung is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education. He has been engaged as principal investigator or co-investigator in several projects including ‘Effective Learning and Teaching of Science at the Junior Secondary Level Using English as the Medium of Instruction’ (HK$ 0.3M), ‘Promoting Assessment for Learning in Junior Secondary Science through Secondary Analysis of the Hong Kong Study of the TIMSS 2007 on Science’ (HK$ 0.5M) and ‘School Support Partners Scheme on Small Class Teaching’ (HK$ 0.5M) since joined HKU in 2010. One major focus of his current research is cooperative learning and MOI in science education. He had his undergraduate and post-graduate education at HKU and got his MPhil and PhD in Education at the University of Cambridge.

2nd Edition of WORLDCRE – Milan 2020

The Milan session was scheduled to take place from 18 to 20 September 2020 and assembled a worldwide network of scholars from Italy, Spain, Switzerland, UK, USA, Turkey, Nigeria, Indonesia, and other countries. The attendees worked on issues such as making remote learning work, training teachers to use digital tools well, and understanding student psychology to offer better support. Experts gathered to discuss issues such as:
