Prof. Newman Wadesango is a distinguished academic with a PhD in Administration, Planning, and Policy Studies. Currently serving as a Senior Academic Development Consultant and researcher at the University of Limpopo in South Africa, he specializes in multidisciplinary research. As the Chief Editor of the IBSS-accredited journal “African Perspectives of Research in Teaching and Learning,” Prof. Wadesango is dedicated to enhancing educational discourse. His exceptional contributions to academia have been recognized with the Best-Established Overall Researcher award at the University of Limpopo, an honor he has received twice, in 2019 and 2022.
Dr. Jan MacLean is a Senior Lecturer in the Fields of Literacy and Art Education with the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters on the topics of “Inclusion through the Arts”. As well she has also presented her research throughout North America, Europe, and Asia and has been awarded “International Scholar of the Year” by Shanghai Normal University. Current research focuses on exploring ways that engagement with reflective writing and art can encourage students to more fully develop a sense of caring towards themselves, others, and the environment.
Dr. Kalsoom Jaffar is a Lecturer in the Accounting and Finance Department at the University of Edinburgh. Her research focuses on Banking, Finance, and Education, with a particular emphasis on performance analysis and financial fragility. Throughout her career, she has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses on corporate finance, investment, and research methods. Currently, she serves as the Head of Joint Undergraduate Programmes at Edinburgh Business School.
Mr. Tuna Şahsuvaroğlu is a master’s degree Psychological Counselor and a licensed couple and family therapist trained at the Virginia Satir Institute of Human Development and Family Therapy in Turkey. He has served as a lecturer in the Department of Special Education at the Atatürk Faculty of Education, Marmara University since 2001.
Mr. Şahsuvaroğlu continues to engage in clinical and academic research focusing on the assessment of developmental milestones in children and adolescents, evaluating intelligence, attention, and learning potential. His professional interests encompass special education, psychological counseling and guidance for individuals with neurodiversity and disadvantaged groups, rehabilitation counseling, family therapies, and promoting inclusiveness and integration in education.
Ms. Sohni Siddiqui is an educator with over 18 years of experience in teaching and training, having worked with students in Pakistan, the U.A.E. and the U.K. In addition to being an author, she serves as an external reviewer for several national and international educational journals. She is a guest associate editor for Frontiers in Education and editor-in-chief of an IGI Global book project. Ms. Siddiqui has received several scholarships from Pakistan and Germany and is currently an external researcher at the Department of Educational Psychology at the Technical University of Berlin, focusing on the development and implementation of anti-bullying interventions for teacher professional development.
MSC Maria Hatzikyrkou is a secondary education teacher specializing in educational robotics and the application of gamification techniques in education. She is a graduate of the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with postgraduate studies in the Philosophy of Science and in the Management and Organization of Educational Units, specializing in digital technologies. Currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, she is working on a PhD titled ‘The Teaching of Robotics and New Technologies through a New Approach: Gamification as a Tool to Enhance Discovery Learning.’” She has many years of experience in the field of education, teaching a variety of topics related to technology and education at universities. She has published over 15 scientific papers in conferences and peer-reviewed journals and has participated in at least five research projects. Finally, she has authored two academic books: Teaching New Technologies and Educational Robotics.
Prof. Constanta Olteanu is currently working at the Department of Mathematics at Linnaeus University in Växjö-Kalmar, Sweden. Her research interests include learning processes (in mathematics and programming), what students learn, and how conditions for learning are created in classrooms. The theoretical perspective is based on phenomenography/variation theory and post-qualitative philosophy. She has focused on the use of educational design research to build knowledge of how to improve learning and teaching in authentic classroom contexts.
Dr. Changsoo Hur is currently a professor in the Department of Education at Chungnam National University in South Korea. He is interesting in the areas of curriculum theory and qualitative research. Based on critical pedagogy and bricolage, he has been researching on gender equity and equality, post-colonialism, education in international cooperation, understanding curriculum, violences in daily lives, multicultural phenomena in South Korea, alternative schooling, local community etc.
Prof. Dr. Anne-Marie Tuomala, M.Sc. in Engineering and MBA, senior lecturer, RDI project manager, works at the LAB University of Applied Sciences, Finland. Transforming pedagogic practice across in line with principles of sustainability has been central to her work over the last five years. She actively develops digital learning of sustainability.
Dr.Mico Poonoosamy holds a Joint Honours Degree in French and English from the University of Mauritius (2001), a Diploma in Secondary Education from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia(2006). In 2008, Mico received a PhD scholarship from the Commonwealth of Australia for his research about high school students` understanding and engagement with global citizenship education, international mindedness, and intercultural understanding. In 2010, he received travel grants from Monash University to further his research in Mauritius and Europe. Mico is currently an Assistant Professor at the Center for Language Education at Josai International University (JIU), in Tokyo, Japan where he teaches French and English. In 2019, Mico was the recipient of the JIU President`s Fund for his research about the implementation of the 2020 English Education Reform Plan in Japan.
